Warehouse Cladding Cleaning -AJB Group, Corby (July 2025)

Overview

During July 2025, we completed a commercial warehouse cladding cleaning project for AJB Group at their 40,000 sq ft facility in Corby, Northamptonshire, where we had to restore the professional appearance across several building elevations. Our teams cleaned from ground level with extendable pole equipment, followed by a controlled rinse. To prevent organic regrowth, we concluded with a biocide treatment.

The Challenge

Across the tall elevations, vertical streaking and general exterior soiling were easy to spot from a distance. Our biggest worry was getting even results without run-off onto the lower areas or disruption to operations. We’re well-versed, so we knew what to do. Using controlled equipment without expanding into the separate plant or extraction areas was crucial.

How did we plan the cleaning

We started by inspecting the site to decide which method to use - cleaning without disrupting the site’s operations was vital. Across the several elevations, we used controlled cleaning with extendable equipment. Our process continued with a thorough rinse, and we checked constantly to make sure we got consistent results. To block organic regrowth, we applied a biocide treatment. Our teams set up work zones, so the cleaning caused minimal disruption to the site’s operations.

The results

We left the warehouse elevations looking cleaner, brighter, and more uniform. The weathering marks and organic streaking were greatly reduced. To maintain the clean look between our maintenance visits, we applied a biocide treatment. Done.

Why did we use Biocide?

The biocide treatment prevents organic matter from growing back after our cleaning, so the exterior surfaces stay clean longer between maintenance visits.
